• Congratulations Jackson Towns Lifesaver of the Year

    Elouera’s Jackson Towns was announced as Sydney Branch Lifesaver of the Year last Saturday night at our Awards of Excellence Presentation.  3 key achievements of Jackson’s this season include – graduating from Goulburn Police Academy and resuming the scope of voluntary activities within surf lifesaving, training RWC drivers in the off season and presenting at the State Youth Opportunity Makers Workshop in 2018.  Jackson is a well credentialed surf lifesaver holding many awards he represents the best of the young fit lifesavers coming through the movement. His willingness to involve himself in every aspect of the movement, achieving credibility for the maturity he displays when discharging his responsibilities.  At 22 years of age he already has a solid track record in support and delivering lifesaving services by his club and branch for the benefit of the general public. Jackson completes beach patrols, is a Patrol Captain, RWC operator,  Surfcom operator and a Branch Duty Officer.  Jackson is involved in the training of new awardees at the Club where is an amazing role model and is very knowledgeable giving candidates something to work towards.  Jackson is held in high regard not only at Elouera but also within the Branch and SLSNSW.  A very worthy recipient of the honour of Sydney Branch Surf Lifesaver of the Year award for 2017-2018. Congratulations Jackson.
