Surf Life Saving Sydney through its fifteen Clubs Trainers and Branch Assessors and Facilitators delivers training and education for its members for all awards under the Australian Lifesaving Academy NSW.

Through the SLSNSW  Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) (Training and Assessment Division) we maintain a high standard of quality and uphold compliance with the VET Quality Framework. SLSNSW are a Registered Training Organisation.

Our Clubs are responsible for the delivery for awards including, Resuscitation, Radio Operator, Surf Rescue Certificate, Bronze Medallion/Cert II in Public Safety (aquatic rescue), Advance Resuscitation Techniques, Inflatable Rescue Boat Crewman and Silver Medallion IRB Drivers. Information of these courses can be obtained from your Club.

Surf Life Saving Sydney Branch delivers Facilitated awards including Silver Medallion Aquatic Rescue, Silver Medallion Patrol Captain, Gold Medallion.Information on these courses is provided to Clubs from the Branch by Circular and also included in the Lifesaving and Education Calendar.
Trainers and Assessors courses are delivered via SLSNSW and information is shared to Clubs as available.
