As per earlier Circular communication at the start of season (refer Circular 12), Branch have scheduled the delivery of two (2) Silver Medallion Aquatic Rescue award courses this season. After
the very successful and well attended December course.
Circular 25 is calling for expressions of interest (EOIs) from Clubs to submit candidates for the March 2025 course.
EOIs close 18 February 2025.

EOIs open RWC Operator 2025 Trainees
EOIs are open from experienced members who are interested in joining the Rescue Services RWC (Support Ski) Team for our next course intake of Trainees. All information can be found in Circular 23. EOIs close 31 March 2025

Surf Rescue 30 is recruiting crew, drivers and skippers to be part of SLS Sydney Rescue Services. EOIs are open for interested and eligible members. All details can be found in Branch Circular 22
Sydney Junior Lifesaver of the Year Nominations are open
Nominations are open from Clubs for the Junior Lifesaver of the Year. All details including questions for nominees to complete can be be found in Branch Circular 18 here
Key Dates
- Nominations close : Sunday 17 November 2024 via the nomination form link provided in the Circular
- Finalists will be advised : by Friday 29 November 2024
- Interviews with finalists : Saturday 18 January 2025 from 2.00 pm onwards face to face and/or via teams
U13 Development Camp
Registrations from Clubs is open for the scheduled U13’s Development Camp. All details can be found in Circular 17 here
Key Dates
- Camp Date : Friday 29 November 2024 to Sunday 1 December 2024
- Camp Venue : Youthworks, Deer Park
- Closing Date : Monday 11 November 2024 for both U13 participants and minders
- Minders Meeting : Wednesday 20 November 2024 7pm to 8pm via Teams – meeting link will be provided to all minders prior to this date
- Transport details will be requested from attendees after registration closing date.
