Seasons Greetings and Thank You from SLSS Director of Lifesaving and Education
Team Lifesaving, I’d like to extend to you best wishes for the upcoming Festive Season.
2020 has been a year like no other, and I am pleased to say that our team, through each of you, has risen to challenge after challenge, and delivered beyond expectation for our membership and the public who visit our coastline. From Bushfire deployments at the start of the year, to a very different patrolling season at the hand of COVID, each challenge our team has faced has been met with professionalism, resilience and determination.
Please take this time to recharge the batteries and spend time with your loved ones.
My sincere thanks goes to all of our lifesavers who will be on patrol over this period, especially those who are involved in our summer operation, and on patrol over our busy holiday season.
Best wishes, and see you all in 2021!
Matt Spooner SLSS Director of Lifesaving & Education
