Surf Life Saving Sydney New Life Member – Peter Carney

Surf Life Saving Sydney is honoured to announce the induction of Peter Carney as our latest Life Member.

The SLSS Branch Council convened yesterday evening to bestow Life Membership upon Peter Carney, recognising his exceptional dedication and contributions to SLSS.

In a Surf Life Saving career of over 50 years, Peter has exemplified unwavering commitment and excellence as a Lifesaver, Trainer, Assessor, Facilitator, Surf Sports Official and Leader. His profound impact on all those he has interacted with is undeniable.

Peter Carney’s dedication is nothing short of inspiring, and his elevation to Life Membership of Sydney Branch is very well deserved.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Peter on this recognition.

Nominations are open SLSS AOE

The Awards of Excellence recognises outstanding achievements and contributions across all aspects of Surf Life Saving.  This years Senior and Youth awards presentation will take place on Saturday 25 May 2024 at the Art Gallery of NSW  and the Junior Awards presentation will take place on Saturday 1 June 2024 at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park.

RWC Trainees 2024 – EOIs are open

Expressions of interest are open for  RWC Trainees for 2024. Please refer to Circular 24 for all details.
This circular is a re-issue and update of Circular 17/23-24 issued November 2023. Any member who
submitted a EOI from previous circular is NOT required to re-submit. Sydney Branch has these on file
to be included with this new round of EOIs.
