Surf Life Saving Sydney is seeking Expressions of Interest for Duty Officer positions to be appointed in the Eastern Suburbs (Waverley/Randwick) and Sutherland/Royal National Park Operational Areas for seasons 2020/21 and season 2021/22. SLS Sydney met with Club Presidents this week to review the Federal Government COVIDSafe Roadmap. The attached position paper has been developed regarding club openings and facility management aligning to Step 1 of the Roadmap. Most clubs will remain closed or have very limited access under the current requirements. Requirements in the area are changing regularly so updates will be posted when changes occur.

Peters efforts rescuing a father and son kayak paddler who were out of their vessel at Gordons Bay on Sunday 5 April in choppy sea conditions with a wave heigh of 0.5 – 1.5 metres is to be commended. The rescue nomination can be read here
