SLSS President Christmas Message
Today the Christmas season is shared in many ways, in a non-denominational way and through many different beliefs. On behalf of the officers and staff of Surf Life Saving Sydney, whatever your denomination or beliefs, may I sincerely wish you and your family a joyous, Christmas, happy festive season and a safe and enjoyable New Year.
Thank you to all our lifesavers, assessors and carnival officials that have worked vigorously in the first half of our summer season, ensuring that our beaches are safe, and that our members are able to pursue their goals in contributing to education awards, lifesaving and sport.
As we head into the peak summer period it’s timely to spread the word about beach safety and promote safety messaging wherever possible. The Support Operations team have already issued the Christmas/New Year briefing document that provides details of additional service provision – My hope is for a safe holiday period ahead for our members and the public.
Once again, thanks for your contribution to Surf Life Saving in Sydney and I look forward to seeing you in our amazing recreational playground – the beach.
Kind Regards
Peter Agnew ESM
President
