It’s with heavy hearts we advise of the passing of Geoff Forshaw OAM.
As we bid farewell to a cherished Life Member, Patron and former President of Surf Life Saving Sydney, and a significant contributor to Cronulla SLSC, we reflect on the profound impact Geoff had on our organisation and community.
As Sydney Branch President from 1985 to 1991, Life Member since 2001 and Patron since 2020, Geoff was a beacon of inspiration, embodying the spirit of dedication, leadership, and unwavering support.
Geoff played an instrumental role in shaping the identity and success of Surf Life Saving Sydney. Geoff’s commitment to excellence, passion for our organisation, and generosity as a President, Life Member and our Patron has left an enduring legacy that will be felt for generations to come.
We express our deepest gratitude for the countless hours, wisdom, and enthusiasm Geoff has shared with us over the years. Geoff’s contributions have been invaluable, and the mark he leaves on Surf Life Saving is indelible.
Our deepest sympathies are with Geoff’s loving wife Irene, his family and friends.
