SLS Assessing App
All clubs are encouraged to commence using the SLS Assessing App. A suitable approach would be for each club to test on a small group of users before rolling out club-wide to ensure you are familiar with the process, but it is ready to go and can be used for Skills Maintenance this season.
The Assessor App can be downloaded through the App Store, and clubs already have it installed on the tablets distributed by SLSNSW. A User Guide and can be downloaded from the Document Library within the Members Portal https://members.sls.com.au/SLSA_MembersOnline/public/document_library.
SLSNSW has produced a series of short videos to make the information in the User Guides more easily digestible.

For those creating events, this can be also done on a PC via sls.assess.etrainu.com.
From discussions with SLSNSW, it seems proficiencies work best when candidates pre-register. Members can do this via the members’ portal, and selecting ELearning, then looking for the relevant proficiency date listed under the “Training Events” section and clicking on it to register – refer screenshot below.
An FAQ document being finalised and released shortly by SLSNSW
If you have any questions or need assistance with using the App Club Chief Training officers can contact SLSS Manager Education, David Kowald
