SLSNSW Awards of Excellence was held on Saturday 26 August 2023. Sydney Branch congratulates all our Award Category Finalists, you all did your Clubs and Branch very proud.

Education with David Kowald and Phil Carter – 10.00am
The education component will be run face to face from both Maroubra SLSC or Elouera SLSC commencing at 10am. Both venues will be open from 9am with access to Teams so you can participate in the other online sessions beforehand, e.g. Lifesaving. Also, those unable to attend in-person can join the Maroubra/Elouera session online if you prefer. All TAFs/CTOs are encouraged to attend the face-to-face meeting in order to benefit from networking and skills maintenance sessions.
Skills Maintenance – HLTAID009
TAF’s who need to maintain the currency of their HLTAID009 will be offered the opportunity at the conclusion of the meeting. They need to complete multi-choice questions in the attached Resuscitation Certificate Assessment Portfolio (this can be done beforehand), demonstrate CPR on the day, then complete the incident report contained within the Portfolio. Branch office will resend this document to TAFs this afternoon.
