Support – Sydney Airport Community Christmas Giving Appeal

Sydney Airport our Major Partner is launching their Community Christmas Giving Appeal in support of Cure Cancer Australia on Sunday 25 November. As part of this event they are hosting a Family Fun Runway Run! It is an amazing event where you get to run down an ‘operational runway’ with your family and friends. This year they will also have activities for the kids including Santa, jumping castles, food trucks and more – Flyer SYDAd Runway Run 2018 374×260

Tickets are for sale and all information is here – https://www.curecancer.com.au/runway-run

As part of our valued Partnership we have been invited to participate in this event.  We are reaching out to our Clubs to see if any members wish to participate in this Family Run Runway Run.  Clubs may even wish to just send a few lifesavers to participate.  If Clubs do wish to have active lifesavers involved, Branch LSEC has given permission for these members to wear their Patrol Uniforms to show support in the ‘red & yellow’  (obviously removing/covering up uniform after the run).
Clubs can have their members wearing club colours etc if you wish.
We realise this is a very busy time of the year for clubs and members, however if you could share this information to your members, your support would be appreciated.
