SMBM courses have been scheduled for July and August
Clubs Captains and CTOs are asked to be proactive when considering registrations for these courses based on members with a minimum of three years patrolling experience identified by Clubs as assuming Patrol Captain responsibilities and obviously also meeting the required award re reqs. EOIs are open for SLSS Duty Officers
We are seeking EOIs from appropriately experienced members to be appointed as Duty Officers for SLS Sydney Branch’s two operation areas : Eastern Suburbs (Waverley/Randwick) and Sutherland Shire (Bate Bay/RNP).

Accolades for our members at the Branch Awards of Excellence
On behalf of the Branch Board of Management and members we congratulate all nominees, finalists and winners of the many awards presented at the Annual Sydney Branch Awards of Excellence held on 26/5/2018. Our Clubs did themselves very proud. Highlights of the evening were many but special mention to Jackson Towns, Elouera who was crowned Lifesaver of the Year Sydney Branch 17-18 and Brent Jackson who received the honour of Volunteer of the Year Sydney Branch 17-18. We wish these members all the best as they will now progress as finalists for SLSNSW Awards of Excellence to be held in August.
To all our special guests of the evening including Sydney Airports, SLSNSW, Sydney Northern Beaches Branch, Federal and State Members, we thank you very much for your continued support of our Branch and Surf Life Saving.

Celebration of Life Harold Brown OAM 2/6/18
Announcement
The North Cronulla SLSC announces the Celebration of the Life of Harold John Brown, OAM
To be conducted in the main Auditorium at the Sharks International Leagues Club,Captain Cook Drive Caringbah, on Saturday 2nd June, 2018, commencing at 12 noon.
The actual Ceremony will commence at 1.00pm
The Scattering of Harry Brown’s Ashes will take place at North Cronulla Beach immediately after the Ceremony and Refreshments will follow in the Harry Brown Room in the North Cronulla SLSC.
Everybody is welcome to attend to pay their respects to this great North Cronulla Surf Lifesaver.
