EOIs are open for Surf Rescue UAV/Drone Operators for SLSS
SLSS recognises the benefit and opportunities of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) better known as drones, in Surf Life Saving Operations. SLSS is seeking EOIs from experienced, reliable and responsible surf lifesavers who have an interest in this new rescue technology. Registrations from Clubs are open for SMAR course December 2017
A SMAR course is scheduled for December 2017. This course is recommended for current patrolling members who wish to develop their skills in search and rescue operations.

Carnival Referees have been appointed 17-18
Branch Surf Sports committee are pleased to confirm the appointment of the Carnival Referees for Sydney carnivals for season 17-18. Our congratulations to the appointed referees, a role that the SSC know you will fulfill to the highest level and standard of carnival officiating. Our referees look forward to working with all our officials at carnivals throughout the season.
