Member Recognition continues for the Branch

Its been a busy week off the back of our AGM last week elevating 3 members to Branch Life Membership, Glen Clarke, Margaret Pearce, Joan Vaughan and 1 member with Presidents Medal, Ron Hegarty.

Then last weekend the Branch, Jock Campbell and Wayne Druery were honoured to receive State Awards of Excellence awards and today we recognise Wayne Druery on his appointment as Referee for 2018 & 2019 Aussies.

Truely wonderful achievements by members in Sydney Branch. Congratulations to all and thank you for your outstanding contribution to Surf Life Saving.

Radio Information for Clubs 17-18

Clubs have been emailed the attached memo providing information about Radio programming and service for season 2017-2018.
Clubs are required to have their radios at Branch office by COB Friday 11th August 2017.

Branch Honours Bestowed on Members at Branch AGM

I am sure you join with me in offering our sincere congratulations and thank you to Glen, Margaret, Joan and Ron for their outstanding contribution to Surf Life Saving over many many decades and in particular their involvement to our Branch.

Branch history was made last night with our first Female Life Members being awarded and I am sure you would agree that both these ladies are well deserving of the honour of this history for the Branch.

Sincere congratulations from all members of Surf Life Saving Sydney.

Junior Development Camps 17-18

The Junior Development Committee has released dates for the Branch Junior Development Camps season 2017-2018.
U11’s 3rd to 5th November 2017
U13’s 1st – 3rd December 2017
Clubs will be provided all information in relation to these camps shortly. Meanwhile please note the dates in your calendars.

SMBM & Assessor Course dates have been scheduled for 2017

The following courses have been scheduled into the Branch LSEC calendar . Three SMBM courses – August, October, November and one Assessor Course for November 2017.
