Looking for a way to engage in a lively conversation about surf life saving? Introducing you to Surf Life Saving Sydney (SLSS) ‘Quick Chats’!
Each Thursday there will be an online ‘Quick Chat’ session on Zoom featuring expert speakers focusing on different topics below.

Betty’s Burgers first weekend on our beaches

First weekend of season 21/22 completed with success. Thank you to our clubs for the well planned approach to patrolling during what could be described as ‘crazy’ times.  It was wonderful for the Branch to see our new partner Betty’s Burgers Patrol Tents on all our beaches.  We welcome and thank our new partner Betty’s Burgers. An exciting 3 year partnership ahead.
 
If you know us, you know we’re all about summer, which is why we couldn’t be prouder to announce our partnership with Surf Life Saving Sydney 🎉 Surf Life Saving plays an integral part in keeping our community safe across our beaches every year 🙌🏼
The red and yellow flags officially went up this weekend, which means that Sydney’s beaches are officially open. We hope that you will join us in ‘swimming between the flags’ so we can all have a safe and amazing summer 😎

Season 21/22 – Flags up tomorrow

Tomorrow, Saturday 18 September, will see the Red & Yellow Flags go up as the official Patrol Season commences across NSW. Lifesavers from our 15 Clubs, and our Support Operations teams will take to the beaches for volunteer patrols, protecting the public, and saving lives.

With Greater Sydney still in lockdown, this year our Patrols will face unprecedented challenges. We would ask everyone to please take caution when recreating along the coast, exercise good social distancing measures and be mindful of Public Health Orders. Please wear lifejackets when boating or rock fishing, and most importantly, ‘Swim Between the Red and Yellow Flags’.

Good luck to all our fantastic Members for Season 2021/22. A massive thank you to all of our administrators and support teams who have done so much work over the off season to ensure we are in the best position possible to get the Flags up and hit the beach tomorrow

Betty’s Burgers Patrol Tents will be on our beaches at our 15 Clubs from this weekend!
