TAF Professional Development 2017

Professional Development workshop/s are part of the four (4) step process for endorsement and re-endorsement of Trainers, Assessors and Facilitators (TAFs). Attending a TAF PD workshop is required once every 2 years. Two dates have been scheduled for October and November 2017 for TAFs who need to complete this.

ALBERT Program 2017

Branch are calling for EOIs from Clubs for up to 5 members per club for the scheduled ALBERT program which will be held at Garie Beach weekend of 18th and 19th November 2017. EOIs from Clubs close 28/10/2017 via the online form as per Circular 11.Circular 11- EOIs ALBERT Program 2017 (IRB upskilling weekend)

New Patrol Screens for our Clubs

As part of the Branch sponsorship from Sydney Airport we are pleased to advise that each of our Clubs will be taking delivery of new Sydney Airport patrol screens for this coming season.
Clubs have been advised the delivery is ready for collection from Branch Office at Little Bay from today 21/8. Thank you Sydney Airport.

Member Recognition continues for the Branch

Its been a busy week off the back of our AGM last week elevating 3 members to Branch Life Membership, Glen Clarke, Margaret Pearce, Joan Vaughan and 1 member with Presidents Medal, Ron Hegarty.

Then last weekend the Branch, Jock Campbell and Wayne Druery were honoured to receive State Awards of Excellence awards and today we recognise Wayne Druery on his appointment as Referee for 2018 & 2019 Aussies.

Truely wonderful achievements by members in Sydney Branch. Congratulations to all and thank you for your outstanding contribution to Surf Life Saving.
